Abby Grott

Abby is new to the co-op world after working in the nonprofit sector for the past few years. As an Association Manager for two membership-based organizations in Chicago, she assisted in developing membership initiatives through marketing and programming. She also acted as the Executive Director for a charitable organization based in the Chicagoland area and organized large-scale events to raise money for a local family in need and two partner charities. Abby enjoys putting great care into the organization and operation of programming and will be applying her skills to assisting UWCC with their national conferences, CCMA and Farmer Cooperatives Conference. 

Abby holds degrees in Communication Studies and Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, sewing, reading, and spending time outdoors.
