Conferences and events about cooperative issues deliver university-based knowledge and resources to the broader cooperative community, policy makers and the public.

Events and Programs

The Center for Cooperatives organizes a variety of conferences and workshops to address issues of interest to the cooperative community.

The annual Farmer Cooperatives Conference provides a stimulating forum for cooperative directors, managers, and those doing business with agribusiness cooperatives to exchange ideas with policy, research and legal experts on issues currently affecting the agricultural cooperative community.

The Custom Board & Executive Development Program for Cooperatives offers unique and focused immersive development programs that target your cooperative’s most current governance and strategy challenges. The custom strategy allows us to present programming that is directly applicable to your cooperative’s needs. The programs are offered by the Center in partnership with with Wisconsin School of Business Custom Executive Education.

In addition, the Center for Cooperatives periodically presents forums on current issues of interest to the cooperative community. Our goal is to provide a venue for discussion about innovative solutions to the challenges and opportunities that cooperatives face, regardless of sector.
